The Perfect Cup

A masterclass in brewing the signature Kesari Hollyhock blend.

01. The Classic Hot Brew

01

Boil & Rest

Bring fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Turn off the heat and let the water sit for 2 to 3 minutes. This allows the temperature to drop to the ideal 85°C - 90°C.

Note: Pouring boiling water directly will burn the delicate Hollyhock and Rose petals, ruining the flavor.
02

Measure

Add 2 to 2.5 grams (approximately one heaped teaspoon) of the tea blend into a teapot or an infuser for every standard cup (150ml - 200ml).

03

Steep

Pour the hot water over the blend. Cover immediately with a lid. This traps the essential oils from the Cardamom, Fennel, and Tulsi. Let it steep for 4 to 5 minutes.

04

Strain & Serve

Strain the infused tea into your favorite cup. Breathe in the aroma and enjoy a moment of presence.

02. The Sweetener Guide

The right timing ensures the natural properties of both the tea and the sweetener remain intact.

Honey

Do not start add to boiling water. Stir it in only when the tea has cooled down to a warm, drinkable temperature to preserve enzymes.

Jaggery or Sugar

Add these immediately after straining while the tea is still hot, so they dissolve completely and balance the botanicals.

Summer Ritual
